Patient Advocate Coordinator

The Patient Advocate Coordinator will report to the team leader for the group and/or the billing and collection manager.

Job Overview: This position entails dealing with patient related issues daily. You will be responsible for answering all calls from patients and speaking with patients that come to the office for questions regarding their medical statements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist all walk-in patients with their billing questions
  • Answer all telephone calls from patients regarding their medical billing statement.
  • Coordinator with the physician office and Omega Medical Billing team to resolve all patient questions.
  • Handle all patient refunds
  • Taking credit card payments via telephone
  • Printing patient statements
  • Mailing patient receipts.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year office setting work experience

Correspondence Coordinator

The Correspondence Coordinator will report to the team leader for the group and/or the billing and collection manager.

Job Overview: This position will require the employee to have attention to detail. All correspondence coming into the office will need to be separated, scanned and e-mailed to your team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Scan all correspondence
  • Separate all correspondence
  • E-mail your team all information scanned
  • Organize correspondence
